When do they take down the Christmas decorations after the Christmas/New year sailings??

We boarded on January 2 on a four day cruise. By the time we debarked all the decor was put away.

It all comes down on the first turn around day after Christmas. As early as the 26th, and no later than the 31st.

Likewise, when do the Christmas decorations get hung? Is it the closest embarkation pre-Christmas? i.e. if a cruise embarks on Dec.23, would the cruise PRIOR to that one get to have the decorations up, or would only the trip starting Dec.23 get them?

They announce a schedule for decorating usually in September or October, and they do one ship at a time. This year so far they have just said all ships will be done by December 3rd.

We board the Glory on the 26th and it would be nice if the decorations are still up since we are not putting our tree up at home :)

I was on the dec 27th cruise last year and the decorations were taken down on the fantasy. So I'm sure they either slowly take them Down after the 25th, or after the Xmas cruise which mine was the 27th

We were on the Valor last year starting on December 26th and it was still decorated.
