Half moon cay-how often does it miss?

From the reviews seems like HMC gets missed quite a bit because of conditions. Anyone know what the average hit and miss is? I'm sure Hurricane SEason makes a difference. We are looking at early Dec or Feb. (prefer the rates of early Dec.)

Time of year does not seem to be a factor. We have missed stops at HMC in the middle of summer; in November on a Thanksgiving cruise; in January ........It can happen anytime.

 

I don't know the exact statistics, but I think it could fall somewhere in the 75/25 range??? Maybe. Seventy-five per cent of the time they are able to drop tenders and twenty-five per cent it's a 'No Go'. (Sometimes it can be a beautiful bright sunny day but the seas are rough; other times it could be pouring rain and certainly no one is clammoring to go to the beach in such weather.)

It's really unpredictable.

 

It seems like when we first started cruising HAL a number of years ago, we were always missing HMC. But lately our luck has changed and I think we have missed it only once in 10 cruises or so.
