I Always Say That I Am Going To BLANK On My Next Cruise, But Have Yet To..

I was thinking about a few of the things that I've said in the past I was going to do while on a cruise, but haven't.

A bucket list of sorts.

Here are mine, for my December 5th cruise on the Breeze..

(This will be our 3rd time on her)

*Watch an ENTIRE movie on the Lido, under the stars.

(I've tried in the past, but rain has ruined it)

*Eat at the Steakhouse.

(We have reservations made and I'm excited!)

*Wake up early and join the CD morning show in the main theater.

(I'm on vacation, I like to sleep in!)

*Sing a song at karaoke.

(I have a good voice, it's just nerves.. I'll conquer that this cruise.)

*Get on stage for Hasbro The Game Show.

(I have the perfect outfit/costume picked out to get me noticed..)

What are some of the things on your list?

Believe it or not, mine is a simple one. Lay on deck and get in the pool/hot tub. I am going on my 23rd cruise next Friday and I have NEVER laid around the pool or been in it or a hot tub. LOL!

The only time I have even been in my bathing suit on board is to put it on to get off the ship for snuba/snorkeling/beach (which is almost every port we go to).... just haven't made it to lounge around or enjoy the pool on board.:p

I have a few:

1. Sing at Karaoke.

2. Use the pool slide.

3. Watch more sunrises.

4. ...still thinking

Sunrises is a good one! I've seen lots of sunsets on cruises.

Again though, I like to sleep in.

I did the pool slide, reluctantly, on my last cruise.

It was a lot of fun.

It's hard to lay comfortably around a pool on a Carnival ship.

To me, it always seems so crowded and chaotic.

I've never been IN a pool on board.

The hot tubs on the Serenity deck are always deserted and quiet at night.

We enjoy them often.

1. Drunkenly sing karaoke by myself. (I've gotten up there before, but always with others bc of nerves. I would like to try to do it intoxicated, you know, liquid courage, and by myself)

2. Win $10,000 in the casino. I would say $20,000, but I don't want to be greedy.

3. Have movie night in my room with room service and alcohol. (I've tried this before, but because I am such an amazing person, I've made friends on day 1, or even before-thanks CC, and if we were separated too long, I'd get the call to my room asking, "WHERE YOU AT?!" So then I'd have to leave and join my new friends.)

4. This one kind of goes along with #3. Try not to have bartenders remember my name. There goes my frickin awesome personality again. Mind of it's own.

1. Play miniature golf

2. Go to the martini tasting

3. Try the Indian food in the dining room

I've never done the Martini Tasting either.

Maybe I should add that to my list.

I do intend on doing the Wine & Food Pairing on this cruise.

Have you done that?

I'd love to join you! But because I'm a teacher (ah, thats why she loves to drink- yes, I also read minds), December 5th is a bit early in December for me. Make it a Christmas or New Year's cruise, and your treat, and I'm there!

When I when the $20,000 on the cruise, I'll definitely split it with you

hahaha, me and my bf were just talking about this, we actually made a list of things we always wanted to do and never have. We are keeping this list in our cruise binder to then use when we go and hopefully check off as many as possible on our next cruise.

but some that were on my list:

*relax more instead of worrying about things still.

*wake up earlier to watch the sunrises and pulling into the ports.

*watch the sail away

*join one of the trivia games

*have breakfast

*have lunch

*not get sick lol

1. Order room service bedtime treats. Somehow, we always end up at the ice cream machine instead. :)

2. Watch a movie on the big screen with the whole family. There weren't many movies appropriate for our youngest child, and everything has basically conspired against us. Once, the kids and DH skipped MDR dinner for a family movie and they didn't play it because they had the wrong starting time for a big sporting event that night

Now, youngest DD is old enough to watch more and they seem to be scheduling more PG movies, so the odds are good for our 8-day cruise. :D

3. Find the gym...Never mind, who am I kidding, that's never happening.

4. Orde room service

5. Catch a sunrise or a sunset on deck (not sure how I always miss both)

6. Go on my first ship sponsored excursion (it's already booked)

My other one was go to the Piano Bar, but I experienced that on my last cruise. My then 19 year old daughter and I were hooked after the first night. We had Seth Gibson was greeaaaat!

Which excursion do you have booked? Which port?

We always book our directly through Carnival.

They are more expensive, but I like the peace of mind.

I never really could justify spending $35 at the Steakhouse when there is so much for free, so we've never done it.

When I booked this cruise however and started hearing more about it, seeing pics, etc. I had to book immediately!
