Question about Carnival Casino rate

Ok, so a buddy and I both got a promotion for a discount casino rate. My buddy and I booked a room together under the same deal, but we have friends that want to join us now. Since I also get a discount casino rate, I am trying to change the name of the second guest (me) under his casino rate under the existing reservation and add our friend, so I can book another room under MY casino rate and add my other friend....but it tells me full name changes not allowed.

 

Im wondering if anyone ever has done this. The reason being, is there are really no stipulations I could find regarding chanceling or changing the reservation. I can also cancel the whole reservation and not be charged any penalty, so I cant imagine there would be any fees to simply change the reservation...and I really dont want to lose my room by canceling and rebooking...

 

 

 

Just curious if anyone has ever had issues like this....and if anything I can do?

Don't forget the rates expire on a certain date. The current promotion requires booking by Oct 15th (i think). If you booked an earlier promotion it may be expired. I wouldn't cancel unless you know for sure that your rate is still valid.

I think you would have to call the casino line to find out what you are and are not allowed to do. Probably, if you all gamble, Carnival's casino would want all of you onboard, but you need to talk to a human, not try to change this on the internet.

yeah I think Ill have to call. They really arent losing anything, other than gaining 2 more people on board who also like to gamble, but virgins to cruising....
