sheffield Posted September 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Are the menus in the MDR any different when sailing out of Southampton on the Eclipse? Does anyone have copies of the menu? Thanks
ClaudiaB Posted September 30, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2015 No, as far as I can recall, it's the same 14 day rotation.
jelayne Posted October 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2015 We sailed out of Southampton last year and to the best of our recollection the MDR menus were the same we had the previous year sailing from Hawaii.
surebeatssailing Posted October 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2015 We sailed out of Southampton on Eclipse Aug 2015. The MDR menus on the RIGHT hand side were the usual dinner rotations expected; the LEFT side was a bit different & inconsistent. Some evenings the main choices were fish & chips, calves liver & cannot recall if 3rd option was grilled chicken. Other evenings might be steak, fish & chips & calves liver. Even some Brits were looking for the usual steak, salmon, chicken that is on the MDR LEFT side on other Celebrity ships. Even some LEFT side veggies were different with cheesy cauliflower being quite a popular item & of course Yorkshire pudding . Still plenty of choices for all but things were a bit different from previous cruises.
DYKWIA Posted October 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Liver + Bacon, Chicken Tikka Massala, Fish & Chips, and Irish Stew were the alternatives on the LHS of the menu mixed in with the Steak, Chicken, Salmon etc on rotation. It's been like this at least the last two summer seasons Edited October 1, 2015 by DYKWIA
sheffield Posted October 2, 2015 Author #6 Share Posted October 2, 2015 Thanks for the replies. Although I live in the US now I am originally from England so am happy to see there might be some "English" food served.
