Cruise a holic Posted October 21, 2015 #26 Share Posted October 21, 2015 The potatoes are roasted fingerling potatoes. Pretty good in my opinion. Breakfast in Blu is more relaxed than dinner. We will often head to the MDR for a change of pace.[/quote I agree but he likes the grease! He eats like a child
Sandtrap328 Posted October 22, 2015 #27 Share Posted October 22, 2015 On my last Infinity cruise, I ate breakfast in Luminae several times and Blu a few times. Both are nice quiet relaxing spots. However, the Ocean View Grill buffet has the best scrambled eggs and the best Eggs Benedict. Luminae would take the fingerling potatoes and make them into the best hash browns for me. I could also get my bacon extra crispy in both Blu and Luminae. You cannot go wrong for breakfast in Ocean View, Blu, or Luminae.
Banjo Posted October 22, 2015 #28 Share Posted October 22, 2015 (edited) I read where Blu is crowded for meals, is Blu crowded for breakfast? Thanks My last 2 cruises (Eclipse-14 day Canary Island cruise & Reflection-7 day Caribbean cruise) we ate in Blu. I don't recall ever waiting for breakfast and for dinner, maybe once or twice a 5-10 minute wait. Looking forward on returning to Blu on my December Silhouette Caribbean cruise, the breakfast is great! Edited October 22, 2015 by Banjo
mom07 Posted October 23, 2015 #29 Share Posted October 23, 2015 We were on Silhouette in March and never had a wait for dinner or breakfast in Blu. We never felt rushed and enjoyed the service at both meals. Blu was the reason we sailed Aqua Spa at first but now that we have experienced it, we are doing it again in December!
