Does anyone know the times of the shows on the Nieuw Amsterdam? Also, did you find that you needed reservations for dinner for the Any Time Dining?

The shows are usually at 8PM and 10PM. We had anytime dining and didn't make any reservations. We showed up between 6PM-6:15PM and never had a problem. I suppose if you want a particular table then you would need to make a reservation.

Open Seating is from 5:15 - 9 PM>

You can only make reservations between 5:15 - 6:15 and 7:30 - 9 PM for any size table you want. You can make reservations for 3 days at a time.

We still like the idea of having the same table (for 2) and the same staff. So we make reservations for early dining. We thought we would hate this new dining and want to stick to traditional but......lo and behold..we really like it.

We have never tried "open dining"and thought we would try it on this cruise. However, we only want a table for 2 at 6:00. How were you able to get a reservation for the SAME table and time with open dining? :confused:

We have only ever done anytime dining and have never made a reservation. We just show up whenever we feel like it. Sometimes we have to wait, sometimes we get seated right away. In our experience, if we are willing to share a table we get seated quickly. If we want to have a table by ourselves then there is more chance we will have to wait a bit.
