Port of Miami car rental

I'm flying into Ft. Lauderdale two days before my cruise. I want to rent a car at the air port and return it by the port. What car rental company have you used in the past to return a car at the port of Miami and used their shuttle to the pier? Also same for the return back, looking to rent a car at the port and return it to the airport. looking for help and experiences with different rental companies.

Rent from National, Alamo or Thrifty and you can return the car to their MIA airport location and ride the free shuttle to POM.

 

Rent from the same three, show your papers to the driver, and you can ride the free shuttle from POM to the MIA airport car rental center.

 

If you get a great deal Hertz, Avis and Budget have offices in downtown Miami - only about a $12+ cab ride from the port.
