Are there any resorts I can get a day pass?

We are sailing in on 12/22 and None of the shore excursions really speak to me.

Are there any fun things to do for beach bums? Are there any good resorts I can go get a day pass at and relax on the beach or rent a Hobie Cat?

I'm just looking for a relatively low-key, hopefully beach filled 8 hrs in port. We were even looking at the Wet Lizard and just walking around the shops...

What say you CC?!?

TIA!

No.

There is a local manmade beach about a 15 minute taxi ride from the port, called Cucumber Beach. It's part of Old Belize. Google Old Belize for information.

The Princess Hotel and Casino has/had a day rate that provided access to the pool and some amenities. There's no beach there. It's about a 3-5 minute taxi ride from the port. You can contact them to see if that's still available. http://princessbelize.com/
