Will be in Coxen Hole with NCL, closest beach

Hi Everyone,

 

we are taking an NCL cruise at the end of January ( adult ladies) and looking for a relaxing day at the beach. Can you tell me which one is the closest (and nice) to go to by cab? Interested in pretty much of doing nothing, just relaxing.

Closest would be Las Palmas (Pirates Bay) east of the airport but before Mahogany Bay. I think they may have shuttles.

 

Closer still but not really a beach per se, is Maya Key. It's a small island just off the Coxen Hole harbor with some snorkeling a small but rocky bottom beach, a pool animals, etc. Ship excursion needed to get there.

 

Then there's West Bay, a longer taxi ride with beautiful beaches, snorkeling and several beach clubs, resorts. Plenty of threads on this board with information.
