Best Royal Suite S ships

Do you have a favorite Royal Suite location? If so why? This is for the Eclipse.

 

Is the one next to the Penthouse better? 10th or 11th deck? Currently assigned 1118. But three others are available.

There's no discernible difference among any of the Royal Suites. They're all located in the same area of the ship, midship, so there's no difference there. There's no advantage to being next to the PH. We've been in the PH on three S class ships and I just can't see any differences among the RS.

Is there the same amount of overhang on each deck?

We tend to book the PH deck.

 

1607/1612 have a slightly more open view but could be a little more blustery than the two next to the PH. Have tried most of them! I would have no hesitation booking any of the rooms, love them, can't wait for our next cruise.

I think if I had the choice I would choose deck 10 next time. We were in 1612 and I was occasionally woken by sun beds being dragged across the deck above. Certainly didn't affect my enjoyment of the cruise or the room though. [emoji5]️
