Welcome Aboard Showtime on Gem

I am reading mixed answers regarding one or two welcome aboard shows on the Gem 10 day sailing. Don't want to miss it and want to book dining soon so curious regarding show times. thanks

All shows in main theatre were around 6 and 9 PM. Two each night, repeat of each other.

I was on the Gem to New England in late September and I am pretty sure the Welcome Aboard show was the first night at 7:00. One show only. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. After the first night, the shows were at 6:30 and 8:30.

Book Teppanyaki for 5PM and you should be fine, or book 8:30 after the show.

Time starts at 5:30 PM for specialty restaurants. We are on the Gem in January. We have the UDP so booked for each night except the first night. We plan to checking out the MDR and make the show.

I found it to be entertaining. It's not really a show in and of itself. The cruised director hosts it, and there are bits from some of the entertainers - some comedy, music, and the illusionists did a few tricks. They got everyone standing and singing along and dancing at one point. They try to get the energy and enthusiasm going, and pretty much succeeded.

The show is a little under an hour long, so you'll have no problem making teppanyaki at 8:30.

I do have dailies, but I've never posted pictures here. I'll see if I can get them scanned into my PC and figure out how to post them here.

 

Any tips on how best to do it?

I have a free app on my phone called tiny scanner. You simply take a pic of your paper and it scans it. Much easier to read that take a picture. That should work for the dallies
