C&A status of son

Hey everyone!

My son has been on one cruise with us so far and we leave on Friday for Oasis... I just noticed he is down as Gold and we are Emerald on our cruise docs. I thought he received our status until he was 18?

Yes he should get your status if he is under 18 and living in the same household. If he meets these requirements call C&A and get him linked to you.

He retains the status he attained through you as of the date he turns 18. He should not lose his status, but his points will reflect the cruises he has actually taken, once he turns 18.

They can fix it up on board of you don't get it done before your travel :-)

Really only a big deal if you reach Diamond before he's of age and has to "row his own boat". Not many perks of note prior to that, but there are a few better ones at the diamond level. Once he's on his own his status does not revert back, but he does have to accrue his own actual sailing points for each tier to advance further up the ladder.

Kids might as well be registered at the level of the parent, because then they get the right coupon book and kid perks. Not a huge deal, but they might as well get it at the highest level.

No matter what their status, kids get the same coupons regardless of level. My kids are diamond because of my status (will be D in their own right after our holiday cruise) and their coupons are exactly the same as they were at previous status.
