BourkeBlogs Posted November 3, 2015 Author #406 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Here are answers to some of the questions previously asked. If you are not on a drinks package a soda costs $3.25. A shot of spirits such as Vodka varies from $9 - $11.25 depending on brand. However this was only at one bar, some bars have single malt whiskies, speciality tequilas etc which cost more. At the trapeze there are no hoops. It is a just a trapeze bar which people get a short turn on. Apologies we didn't get a photo of this. For flow rider children need to be a minimum of 52 inches tall for body boarding or 58 inches for stand up surfing. Under 13s must be accompanied by an adult. A wristband is required for everyone regardless of age which can be collected from the iFly check in desk. This confirms you have read and signed the waiver for surfing, climbing and skating. For anyone under 18 the waiver needs to be signed by their parent. For rock climbing there is a minimum age of 6 and anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Here is the spa menu and the offers from today. Think they have had promotions most days that have been advertised but we didn't really notice what these were, sorry Edited November 3, 2015 by CruisenovicesUK

Fuzzypop Posted November 3, 2015 #411 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Your sense of humor about the waterfall made me chuckle. Our last "rough crossing" was the Tasmanian Sea from Australia to New Zealand and back. Water up and out of the pool. Ropes to hold on to when walking. and that was a much smaller ship - Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas. Could not believe the swells. We were fortunate we did not get sea sick, but there were others who had a miserable time. I hope your crossing gets smoother... Dear Beensailing, My wife and I are scheduled for 3 BTB cruises, 43 days, with NZ and all around OZ Jan. thru March 2017. What time of year did you experience rough seas? We did a TA from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale Oct. 2013 on Liberty and it was like a lake. Thanks for your reply. Fuzzypop
MHORAGR Posted November 3, 2015 #412 Share Posted November 3, 2015 Hi Jamie and OH (Diane) would just like to say what a brilliant job you have done with your updates, photos, daily Compasses, answering all the questions!! We are sailing on Anthem on Tuesday (10th Nov) so it has been very exciting for us to follow your trip across the pond (and very addictive I must say)!!! So unfortunate you had a rough few days but you will be glad to know the weather at this side of the pond is fantastic until the end of the week! Enjoy the rest of your last day at sea and hope you manage to get caught up with all the things you wanted to do that had been cancelled. By the way you did a brilliant job of the flow rider - well done for your first attempt! Thank you so very much - like somebody already said - you have done a fantastic job - you are a natural! BourkeBlogs Posted November 3, 2015 Author #424 Share Posted November 3, 2015 CruisenovicesUK, your review is OUTSTANDING. We will be sailing the Anthem in January 2016. I have a couple of questions: 1. What poker games do they have in the casino? Three Card, Ultimate, etc.? 2. How is your Royal IQ working? Thanks for your comments We actually took pictures of all the casino tables the other morning with the signs showing game type, minimum bets etc. although we've taken that many pictures and got that much info I can't upload quick enough. There is 3 card poker Big raise stud poker Ultimate Texas Hold'Em There was also something called Let it Ride. I've not heard of this before so unsure if this is Poker too. In regards to the IQ app, it has probably worked about 75% of the time. When it's not working we have have either received an error message when trying to access our calendar, the cruise compass etc or just doesn't load up content when you click on it. The luggage tracking never worked for us either. When the app works it is good, as you can add things to your calendar from the cruise compass so it's easy to keep track of what you have planned.
