Flight departure changed

Question: I got an email today from American Airlines changing my 5:35 departing flight to 2:30 on the debarkation day of our cruise. Do you think 2:30 is too early to fly out of San Juan?

No. That's fine, you will have plenty of time. In fact you will be waiting at the airport for quite awhile if you go there straight from the ship.

You will be fine unless something drastic happens. Lots of cabs at the port to take you to the airport. If you can, do self assist debarkation.

2:30pm is actually a more desirable time. PLENTY of time to make that flight. The San Juan Airport has gone through some renovations recently which, in the most part, are now complete with larger security checkpoints and a more efficient design. Have a great cruise!

Absolutely. I've been able to make 10AM flights out of San Juan. I had a noonish flight booked, arrived way early at 8:30AM, and was given a seat on the earlier plane.
