Lazy Days and Spice Market

Thinking of combining time at Lazy Days Beach with the Spice Market. I know there is one in town, but seems to make sense to spend some time beaching and then walking around the Spice Market. Is there any vendor that you would recommend? Do they sell chocolate as well as spices there? Anyone know what hours that spice market is open? the one in town?

Hi there,

We just returned from a Southern and ported in Grenada for one day. We took the water taxi and went to Grand Anse Beach and walked through the spice market there. Personally, I wouldn't buy chocolates there as it is a bit of a way back to the ship; they will melt. If you want to buy chocolates, I think it might be better to get them closer to the ship.

We did not buy spices there as the merchants were quite aggressive. They are, of course, desperate for business.

I'm sure both spice markets are open as long as you are docked, unless you have an evening sail away.
