you have to buy the package at the bar when you board, so there is not a sticker on your card when you check in at the pier.

Even if you order it before the cruise, you will get the sticker when you get your first drink.

That's what we are doing. I bought Carnival Gift cards through Verizon to pay for it and the Fun Shop doesn't accept them to pre-order Cheers.

We just got off Splendor last week. I pre paid for the cheers for me and bottomless bubbles for my daughter. There was a table set up on the lido deck to sell both of these items to people. We went there and they had a listing of people who had pre paid and put our stickers on there.

I don't understand why they even still do the stickers. It is coded into your account when you have it. My sticker wore off on the second day and it was never an issue.

The advantage to purchasing early is really for budgeting purposes... Up to the individual, some like to purchase before hand as they get money, and keep the S&S down, others purchase once on board.. Either way, you still have to stop by the table and get your sticker...

We also like to pay for everything before the cruise....but I think this time we just get ours at the bar and they give us the sticker right there. If I purchase earlier I have to go up to the Lido deck and wait on a long line, the casino bar and the lobby bar on the Fascination sells the drink packages also and gives you the sticker. Did I get my ships mixed up I don't think the Lido deck is the only place to purchase the Cheers Package, or was it I can't recall?
