TanyaHeart, your act of kindness is touching and I salute you for it. WOW. Did the docking happen and how did it go? Please forgive me if this questions has already been addressed.

We docked for an hour. Staff said no docking next week. The Dawn has priority.

Am I looking at this correctly? If they are docking every other will, the jade will dock on our cruise that departs December 26?

Is Mr "Happy-Happy" still spraying hand sanitizer at the buffet entrance? He gets around. He was also in the crew talent show, won't tell you what his talent was, you would never guess!! Also, Master Kim is probably the funniest Captain I have had on a ship. Not sure if you see him much, but the senior officers were always out milling around on the TA.

Our captain got sick. We got a new captain in one of the ports.

Yes, Mr. Happy Happy is still on board.

Tanyaheart,

Thanks for the updates! What current movies are being shown on stateroom tv and public spaces? Also, do you know if there is a dvd hook-up in Jade staterooms?

There's a Tom Cruise action movie that we kept catching in the cabin.

We're at the Wet Lizard in Belize. Tendering didn't begin until 9a. Open tender at 11:30a. We had VIP lunch at Cagney's before leaving ship.7ccd8888712e9967307a50cdc4a8a512.jpga6837f909fd65cec376317931dc71adb.jpg

Moderno is across from Blue Lagoon. If a football or other sports is being shown on big screen, forget about having an intimate dinner. There will be yelling & cheering. A couple from our roll call walked out after eating from the salad bar. The meat never showed up.

Wednesday night was the White Hot Party.

Two ambulances picked people in Cozumel. Our captain left due to sickness & we stopped in Cozumel on the way back to meet a boat for some reason. None of these incidents affected our cruise experience.

Gift shop is full of high end jewelry, perfumes, & watches. We only purchased liquor.

The Great Outdoors bar never had a line.

There's a free steam room in each of the changing rooms in the fitness area.

No IConcierge on board.

When disembarking, approach from the aft to avoid waiting in line with everyone from the atrium.

I don't need to see a menu, but I'd like to know if there are snacks or food available in the bars? Like hopefully a cheese plate or sandwiches? Or maybe a small bowl of pretzels or peanuts, even?

No snacks at bars.

Norwegian Cruise Line is adjusting its daily service charges, effective for all sailings that depart on or after August 1, 2015.

The new rates are:

$13.50 per person per day for any category up to a mini-suite stateroom

$15.50 per person per day for any suite category

Any guest that has made a booking by July 31, 2015 will have the option of prepaying their service charges at the current rate if done prior to the final payment due date. Guests with existing cruise reservations who have already pre-paid their service charges at the current rate will not be affected.

We were going to put down a deposit for next cruise but Cruise Consultant, Jorge, said that NCL is leaving the Houston port and not going out of Galveston. We would have to drive to New Orleans. Looks like we'll be returning to Royal Caribbean. [emoji22]

We closed down the martini bar several nights & never had snacks but we didn't ask.

Thanks for sharing a great hang out place for us and our two friends. We closed down the bar on the Pearl quite often. We had such a good time they invited us to cruise with them again and timing worked for my another big birthday cruise. I can already taste my martinis. :D Thanks UBP!
