Emerald deck 14 cabin under buffet

Looking to cruise on the Emerald and looking at a cabin on deck 14 under buffet, wanting to know if it is noisy, like the locations, but was not sure about noise. thanks

We were on the Diamond below the Horizon Court and we were told it was noisy due to vacuuming and chairs moving but never noticed any noise worth mentioning. I think maybe light sleepers might notice something but we never had an issue and our next cruise is also on 14 below the bar on the Caribbean princess.

The area you are concerned with, the one next to the windows in the Horizon Court, which is where the tables and chairs are, and it is carpeted, so I doubt you would hear much noise from above your cabin.

thanks everyone my husband is a very light sleeper, but not me, would prefer a cabin on lower deck, but a last minute , and not much selection

We were on the Grand and in the balcony cabin under the HC. During the day we did not hear much noise but late at night we could hear them dragging chairs and tables around as they cleaned the floors. We will not be doing that again. We now stay at least two decks below the lido deck.
