I looked around and didn't see this....

If I use my FCC on a cruise that has a "non-refundable" deposit and then find that I can't take the cruise (work is shaky right now) - will i get my FCC "returned"?

Ci just phoned yesterday with that same question. No, non refundable means non refundable.

"This offer is fully refundable if cancelled prior to cancellation penalty phase"

Small print from bottom of the page posted by Hawka.

Rob2102, interesting to know you were lucky enough to get an exception.

However, if the promo says non refundable deposit, according to the Princess rep I spoke with, that means ANY deposit, even FCD. Just what I was told when I called this past week.

We had to cancel a cruise due to a health issue with dh. The deposit was non refundable, but Princess insurance covered it. However, we got the $100pp returned; we didn't get our fcc's back. We booked another cruise as soon as he was better, but those had been our last fcc's so we had to put down the full deposit and got no OBC.
