greybeardcruzer1 Posted November 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Anyone have details on this port and FTTF?
sb4ever Posted November 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2015 I would highly recommend it. We had it and were on the ship shortly after they started the boarding process. From what I hear (and saw), the lines were horrendous!
greybeardcruzer1 Posted November 14, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted November 14, 2015 @sb4ever: Thanks. This is our first Cruise using it. How fast were you on the ship? Were you bags already in room when you boarded?
riffatsea Posted November 14, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Bags will not be there early but your cabin will be ready. Can't say exactly what time you will be aboard but it will be earlier than the folks without FTTF!!

riffatsea Posted November 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2015 Remember it also gives you other perks: Can use the special Guest Services line same as "priority"guests Can get off ship at tender ports whenever you wish by going to Guest Services whenever you are ready to leave. Can leave ship to disembark early with priority guests.
pusywillow Posted November 14, 2015 #7 Share Posted November 14, 2015 @sb4ever: Thanks. This is our first Cruise using it. How fast were you on the ship? Were you bags already in room when you boarded? Make sure the porters put the orange priority stickers on your luggage. This may help you get them faster. There will be a special line to check in. Ask one of the workers if you don't see it. The porter directed me to the correct, much shorter, line. Sue
greybeardcruzer1 Posted November 14, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted November 14, 2015 @pusywillow: Thanks for the information. Will definitely inquire about orange priority stickers. Will also make a point to have porters direct us to shorter 'Priority' line. I noticed that 'Priority' is now on our boarding passes.
Rosesgt Posted November 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted November 15, 2015 We sailed on the Conquest for Halloween and used FTTF. It was fantastic. The port is well organized and you go through security with all the cruisers and then you're sent to the Diamond, Platinum, FTTF line. We got to the port around 1100 and the line for the masses was massive. There had to be a couple of hundred cruisers waiting in line and even more who had already checked in. We had 3 couples in front of us and we were checked in within minutes. We were on board by noon. A few times we needed to go to Guest Services and the line was always very long, but not for FTTF. We also were in zone 1 when we disembarked thanks to FTTF. We were off the ship and driving home before 1000. All in all it's so worth the money we spent. dbrucern Posted November 15, 2015 #10 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Funny, we have never had a problem at the FLL cruise port and would take it any day over the Miami cruise port

sb4ever Posted November 15, 2015 #13 Share Posted November 15, 2015 @sb4ever: Thanks. This is our first Cruise using it. How fast were you on the ship? Were you bags already in room when you boarded? I think they started boarding right around 11 and we were on board by maybe 11:30 at the latest? Our rooms were ready but the bags did not arrive until after we ate on the Lido and explored the ship. That being said, there wasn't a long delay.
greybeardcruzer1 Posted November 15, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted November 15, 2015 @sb4ever: Boarding around 11am and on the ship by 11:30am, sounds fantastic! Thanks for all the information. We like the fact that we can get to the room early, drop off our carry-on stuff, eat & explore the ship early. We can see by all the positive feedback, that with the FTTF it's going to be smooth transition from port to ship and our room.
