Tours from Cruise Port

Are there tours of the island available on the day you arrive from the cruise terminal?

If so any recommendations/prices/tips ?

Do you mean, if there are tours to book direct from the Cruise Terminal? The Cruise Terminal does not organise tours. Outside the Terminal, diagonally to the right is a Taxistand. Here is a Concierge. She will help to organise a tour for you with a taxi. They do try to get as many People as possible together. Make sure you know which currency they are talking about - Barbados Dollars or US Dollars. They take US Dollars. The rate is 1 US Dollar is equal to 2 Barbadian Dollars.

Can't say what they might cost. It depends on what you do.

There are dozens of cab drivers hanging at the terminal offering island tours. A couple years ago the rate seemed to be about $25 an hour.

We pre-booked a tour through Carson Moore, which as a tad higher at $30/hr. But his guy did a great job and there were just 4 of us and he took us exactly where we wanted to go.

Lots of taxis are available for tours and there are also other tours you can book at the terminal.
