SusieS Posted November 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2015 I do hope you guys can help me! We have been assigned P338 on the Crown Princess going to Mexico in January. I was so excited to see that we would be located right near the International Cafe! Upon looking further I then discovered that P338 also is right under the Casino & Cigar bar. I cannot deal with the smell of smoke. Have any of you stayed in this room, or somewhere nearby? Was the smoke an issue? How about the noise from the Casino? Thanks so much for your feedback! srpilo Posted November 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2015 We were with in a few cabins of 338 on Plaza last May on the Crown, and absolutely no affect what so ever from deck six, neither noise or smell IMO I love those cabins on Plaza, with IC right there it's fantastic in the mornings for coffee and goodie's to start the day :) Srpilo

ccruisequeen Posted November 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2015 I'm booked in P330 on the Ruby. It's good to see positive remarks about that area. I loved it on the Crown and thought it was so convenient (I was on Rivera and always got turned around) I still cruise for Warm Chocolate Melting Cake (with 2 sugar free ice creams), lobster, and Creme brulee! Rare cr8tiv1 Posted November 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 24, 2015 I booked 4 out of the 6 Plaza Deck Port insides (including P338) for a recent Crown voyage. Best interior cabins location, in my opinion. My only concern was that this is NOT a dead end corridor like the Grand Class ship layout. There is a door that is open to the International Cafe from around 6 AM to 11 PM. Most passengers did not use it as a thoroughfare, but there was definitely more foot traffic than if it were a dead end. Little to no noise (occasionally did hear the entertainment in the Piazza...but you could hear it a mile away), no cigar smoke, no casino noise, and little to no motion on a Coastal. Enjoy your coffee, cookies and milk, and whatever other IC delights you decide upon.
