Have you even been to Ben's cavern, Owl's Hole or that little conch shack on the beach near Lucayan National Park? I have and I've had the most beautiful, adventurous excursions in Freeport. I would be thrilled to stop there and go exploring with Calabash Eco Tours again. Every port is what you make it [emoji6]

Freeport is a beautiful island I've been going for almost 40 years and had a vacation home there.

If they are getting a private island it won't be Freeport but Freeport will probably become a stop. Truth be told I'd much rather go to Freeport then Nassau!

The article said they are looking into expanding the port in Freeport as well as developing the private island, so it would be safe to assume you are right. And I'm with you, I much prefer Freeport to Nassau.

Freeport is the worst port anywhere we have visited, good for those that like it but it is one place we would not want to return to.
