izzywalker Posted December 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2015 We are hoping to go on a P&O World Cruise but may do it in stages. Would like to hear from anyone who is going on a World Cruise next year 2016 or has been on one recently. Would very much like an ongoing rapport with other cruisers with regard to hints and tips - visa requirements, vaccinations etc. Best time to book to get the best deals. Next year (2016) I have planned a family cruise with 14 of us to Iberia. When back will be looking at World Cruises. Any feedback on the World Cruises/part of would be very welcome. Rare Scrapnana Posted December 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2015 A world cruise is a fantastic adventure. You do have to enjoy sea days, however. Some suggestions for more information on P&O world cruises. Here is a link to a blog from Aurora's 2014 world cruise. http://worldcruise2014aurora.blogspot.com/ I would also check out the roll calls from previous as well as upcoming world cruises. This is a link to the roll call page. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=379 Another suggestion is to ask any questions about the ship, itinerary, general suggestions, etc. on the P&O forum. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38 If you take a world cruise, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Rare Keith1010 Posted December 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2015 My wife and I have sailed on eight world cruises but on another cruise line. A word cruise is a very unique experience and no other voyage we have ever taken compares to it. You visit so many places in a relatively short time and you share this with many fellow guests who are on board with you as well as many from the crew. You have the opportunity to bond with so many people. For us when we have returned it is like a family or college reunion. We find that the ship becomes a small community. It is an extraordinary experience. Keith
