RadioPeri Posted December 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2015 We're heading out on an NCL excursion to the Bahts tomorrow morning. Instructions say to bring a towel, but that's it. I know to wear water shoes. Can we bring/carry phones (for camera) or should we leave behind?? Also, any input on how cold the water is would be welcome! blue_water Posted December 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2015 (edited) We'd have a string knapsack or shoulder bag and would carry our phone and use that for pics and videos. Also a bottle or 2 of water, small container of sunscreen, and if room a small first aid kit is a must. You can buy water and beer at the beach shack too. The water temps don't vary that much and should be quite nice. Enjoy!!! [EDIT] You probably don't have a lot of time, but if the Baths are crowded and you wasn't to spend an hour in a less crowded spot you can walk to Spring Bay from the Top of the Baths. Similar geography (boulders) and great snorkeling. The staff at the restaurant can point you in the right direction. Just a thought, just in case! RadioPeri Posted December 10, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 10, 2015 Thank you, blue_water! Packing the essentials in a small backpack and will try to soak up as much of the scenery as we can in the short time we have. This is one of those very odd half-days on the NCL Gem, so we opted for the ship's excursion so as not to get burned by time. Appreciate your quick answer!
