Cocoa Beach Holiday Inn(s)

The holiday inn you are talking about is not an express and is beachside versus on the side where Publix is. It is an older hotel (i grew up in Cocoa Beach and it was there the whole time I was growing up). It got pretty beat up in the hurricane last fall, so i would call and get an update on their stats or check tripadvisor.com for current experiences by other guests.

There are alot of great, newer hotels in cocoa beach. Ron Jon's has a new resort right on the beach and the courtyard by marriott is fantastic. the luna sea motel is locally owned and operated and doesn't get complaints.

The Holiday Inn was closed due to hurricane damage but has since recently reopened. It is beachside and should be a nice buy if you can use your points. Rent a car (if needed from Budget) and turn it in before your cruise. They will shuttle you to the pier. Take the ships transfer back to MCO if that is your airport.

Bon Voyage
