We were offered, and took, the stateroom upgrade on our recent cruise - from Oceanview to Verandah. We were very glad we had, especially because of the two river sections going into Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. Lovely to sit on the balcony early in the morning watching the banks of the Chao Praya River go by. This was our third Az cruise and we are at Explorer level. Really hoping to be offered an upgrade to a suite next year on our Carribean cruise in October, as we have booked a Verandah stateroom.

We are Discovery tier and this is our third Azamara cruise. Upgrade is complimentary. Service is impeccable. Food in DR not great.

 

Wonderful/great to hear that upgrade was complimentary, service impeccable. Sorry about the decline of the food in MDR. Have you said anything to F & B Manager and or Restaurant Manager?
