Escape 1/9 - 1/16 Everythings booked!!

was trying to book dinner and entertainment for my up coming cruise on the Norwegian Escape for the 9th - 16th of January. I will be cruising with parents and 2 daughters .. 6 all together and I read that you must make reservations a head of cruising. I was on the Getaway last year and also booked the Haven and all dinner and Entertainment was made on the ship so I assumed the same applied for the Escape. I have heard some awful reviews about dinner and show being booked. I am hoping that someone might be able to share experience with the Haven and booking dinner reservations. thanks
