Cabin under casino

I've been in many inside cabins along in there on the several ships over the years. All but one were on starboard. The one portside cabin was close to the forward elevators, very much under the casino and portion of Northern Lights. I never heard any noise from above when I was there.

On starboard I have usually been at least half way down the passageway, heading from forward toward mid-ship; it's always quiet there. I can't offer first-hand info regarding the starboard insides closer to the Piano Bar or Sports Bar.

If you want to post your cabin number I may be able to give better information.

I'm afraid I can't help too much with that cabin number; it's a little too far forward for my taste. The closest I've been to that was the time I was on port side, and I was still a couple of cabins further aft. But that was right under the casino/Northern Lights area, and I didn't hear a thing.

Hi RuthC, Thank you for the reply. Our cabin is 1031 starboard side on the Zuiderdam. Carol

I stayed in 1025, your neighbour, in Sept 2013 on the Zuiderdam. We never heard ANY noise from the casino or piano bar from above. You should be fine.
