Has anyone done the Beach Break excursion in Costa Maya?

There is a Costa Maya board that may have additional information about this excursion, and even if it doesn't it might provide you with some ideas. IMO it is too easy to get to the beach there to spend money on a beach excursion.

We go to Almaplena Eco Resort, booked straight through their website. We absolutely love it! I think it's $64 a person. Includes round trip taxi, lunch, and unlimited drinks. We really enjoy how quiet and isolated it is there. When we went last year in April, there was about 15 people on their beach, including my wife and I. We went last week also and there was 6 people on the beach total. No merchants or vendors bugging you [emoji4] Their masseuse is also AMAZING! $45 for an hour. I believe you have to book him at least 48 hours in advance so the resort knows to have him on site when you arrive. Lunch was chips and guacamole, nachos, shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, and beef tacos.
