blufroggirl79 Posted December 15, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Thank you for your response. Is the charge a per use charge or one time charge?
islandgirl70 Posted December 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted December 15, 2015 It's a one time charge of $7.95 per person. It works great, we just got off the Escape on Saturday and had no issues with the app. I highly recommend it. You can also look at the dailies, dinning menus, port excursions, etc.

LrgPizza Posted December 15, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 15, 2015 You can download the app to your phone right now, if you want. You can pay & activate it when you are on the boat, or else while sitting in the terminal waiting to board after checking in, which is what we always do. We kill time in the terminal fiddling around with the messaging feature.

When you say you can look at the menus, does that include the daily changing menu at the main complimentary restaurant as well? Thanks for much in advance for your reply and happy holidays! mvh Posted December 15, 2015 #10 Share Posted December 15, 2015 I thought the iconsierge was free except to call to land. Is that not the case? How much is it?

mjkacmom Posted December 15, 2015 #12 Share Posted December 15, 2015 I thought the iconsierge was free except to call to land. Is that not the case? How much is it? As stated above, around $8. The app is free, but you pay the fee if you want to message people onboard.
islandgirl70 Posted December 15, 2015 #13 Share Posted December 15, 2015 The menus for Taste, Savor and Manhatten room were all there as well as most pay restaurants.
LrgPizza Posted December 15, 2015 #14 Share Posted December 15, 2015 The menus for Taste, Savor and Manhatten room were all there as well as most pay restaurants. That's awesome! They were not there on any of our 3 iConcierge cruises, including the one on Escape. That's great if they now update those daily.
islandgirl70 Posted December 15, 2015 #15 Share Posted December 15, 2015 You may have to pay for the app if you want to see the menus but you can see everything.
LrgPizza Posted December 15, 2015 #16 Share Posted December 15, 2015 You may have to pay for the app if you want to see the menus but you can see everything. You don't have to pay to see specialty menus, so we can assume you wouldn't have to pay to see the MDR menus.
travelinmoma Posted December 15, 2015 #17 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Can you pay with OBC? Or is it something you pay for like you would another app on your phone?
LrgPizza Posted December 15, 2015 #18 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Can you pay with OBC? Or is it something you pay for like you would another app on your phone? No, the app is free to download. Paying the $7.95 to activate it can only be done via your shipboard account.
