pv time vs ship time

hi does anyone know in january where ship time is to local time in puerto vallarta were on a private excursion and wondering when to have guide meet us?

Ship's time is usually an hour behind PV time. If it's 9 ship time it's 10 PV time.

Many tour guides will make the time adjustment for you, using your ship's time as the time to meet, although that is not a guarantee. It's smartest to check with them to make sure, one way or the other.

Tell the guide the ship you are on and let him tell you how soon he will meet you after you dock.

Puerto Vallarta is in the Central Time Zone. With no Daylight Savings Time in January, it would mean it is two hours ahead Pacific Standard Time. I think that Puerto Vallarta observes Daylight Savings Time. So, any time of the year it would be a two hour time difference if sailing out of California.

We just returned from the Miracle. Ship time was remained at the embarkation port time. (long beach). It never changed.

Thats weird, in early November we changed the clocks back an hr on the ship so we were only 1 hr ahead of PV

Last week on the Miracle ship's time was PST and PV was 2 hours later, CST.
