Last Minute Scooter Rental

Haven't decided what we want to do in Turks. We are throwing around the idea of renting scooters and riding around the island. We have scooters at home so are familiar with riding. Is it possible for us to head outside of the cruise center and arrange for a last minute scooter rental? We don't want to make a formal reservation right now but want the option to do so. Has anyone been successful in a last minute scooter rental? Thanks.

I'd say it depends on how many and how large of ships are in port. 2 large ships or 3 mid size ships might make it a bit difficult to do. You can always walk out ask and if none are available, come back into the cruise center.
