RobinKY Posted January 4, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Did you try the tandoori? I was on this same cruise. You can see my review on the Dream page. I ate at Tandori 3X and I really liked it. It had been a number of years since I have had indian food. On sea days the line is long and but port day it is short & quick. It is only open 12-230. RobinKY Posted January 4, 2016 #27 Share Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) looking at this itinerary for spring 2017. Did you stay the night prior to cruising in a hotel? Any recommendations for hotels? We will probably want to be there a few days prior to see the city. I did this same cruise. We drove in to NOLA the day before the cruise. We did a hot wire deal and got the Sheraton on Canal street for $100 + taxes. Parking was like $45. It is across Canal street from the French Quarter. We walked around for a couple hours and had a nice low key dinner. We met a couple on board who stayed in FQ who paid like $350 so we got a great deal IMO. It is 5-10 minutes from the port. If we cruise out of NOLA again we will do the same thing but try to get to NOLA earlier to enjoy more. Edited January 4, 2016 by RobinKY
