Looking for a few tips

So this will be our first cruise on NCL. We have previously only been on Carnival and we're very happy with all of those cruises. Now giving NCL a shot it seems there are quite a few differences and I hope I'm not missing out by not understanding these differences. I think I've educated myself pretty good and understand reservations need to be made for a lot of the shows. My question is when can we start making these reservations online? We cruise in April and I haven't seen any options for making reservations online yet. Any other tips between the 2 cruise lines that you feel would be helpful will be appreciated. Thank you

It may pay you to name the ship as not all will take bookings.

I have never made reservations for shows in advance. That being said when you get to within 90 days of your cruise you can log on to MyNCL and see what is available for booking.
