Booked ES rate, can I match and get OBC for booking while sailing?

I somewhat impulsively booked an ES rate for a cruise next October.

I think now that had I waited until we sailed in February and booked while on board I could have gotten an OBC for the future booking.

Do you think there is any way of price matching on board to get this still?

Unfortunately, no. The OBC is a perk you get only if you book while on board.

With the ES rate the price may go below what you would have received in OBC so there is still hope.

Actually, it did cross my mind that the price of the future cruise may very well drop and cause me to lose the OBC I would have gained by booking on board.

It is hard to know sometimes. In this case I wanted a specific cabin.

Actually the OBC you get for booking while onboard is not lost when you qualify for any price adjustment even if you change rate.

 

Of course while on your cruise you can book another cruise and get an OBC.:)
