Cab fare from MIA to Port of Miami

Does anyone know about what a cab will cost to get from the airport to the port?

 

Trying to get my budget lined up.

runner15km, you were definitely TAKEN! Convention or not, heavy traffic or clear freeways, it doesn't matter!!! It's a flat/fixed rate of $21 between MIA and the Port of Miami, in either direction, at any time.

If we agree on a $21 fare and then they try to charge us $35, what are we supposed to do? We don't want to get charged with "theft of services". Just curious.

I think where the problem lies is that many tourists don't know that it's a fixed rate and that they're not suppose to use the meter. Establish the fact before you get in the cab that you're aware of the $21 flat rate, if the cabbie doesn't agree report him and get another cab.

That depends on how many in your party. The cab fare is for the entire cab, shuttles charge a per person price. Super Shuttle is the biggest at MIA... http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/mia.htm
