Rare Alphen Posted January 3, 2016 #51 Share Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) The Koningsdam has a full wraparound promenade deck. http://koningsdam.hollandamerica.com/activity/promenade I sure hope you are right, according to our fellow cruiser and maritime artist Topsham, on the front you will encounter obstructions through several doors! http://forums.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=48224226&postcount=8 Edited January 3, 2016 by Alphen
Iluvcruising2 Posted January 3, 2016 #52 Share Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) I use the health app on my iPhone to monitor the number of steps I take in a day. While on a cruise, ideally I try to hit 20,000 a day, which is double my normal daily target. To take steps, I don't have to be walking on the deck. It could be walking around the ship, up and down the stairs etc. Edited January 3, 2016 by Iluvcruising2
Cruiser 4 Life 66 Posted January 3, 2016 #53 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I'm also a fan of the wraparound decks, although fewer and fewer ships seem to have them these days. I guess the cruise lines care more about sticking balcony cabins in their place to make more money.
