Formal night code/Suit hire on Royal Caribbean

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My husband has all the suit bits except a jacket that actually fits. That is, shirt, cufflinks, tie, shoes, pants, vest/waistcoat, etc.

We are cruising in a tropical climate, would it be unacceptable for him to wear shirt, tie and vest without the jacket on formal night? (he probably would choose not to wear the jacket even if he had one).

Alternately, is it possible to hire just the jacket? I have found information about hiring a whole suit but that would be a bit of a waste of money for us.

Thanks!:)

That's perfectly fine

I haven't seen JUST a jacket offered, but it may be possible upon request.

He will be fine with the shirt and tie. Royal does not enforce dress suggestions anyhow.

The only exception I can think of is if you are sailing on Quantum or Anthem and dining in the Grande restaurant. In that venue, they will give your husband a jacket to wear if he needs one.

It's ok. She's on the Explorer. ;)
