NCL's NEW a La Carte Specialty Dining

We are sailing on NCL Sky on 1/15/16. Can anyone share details on the new "Specialty Dining a la carte" changes/ menu?

 

When speaking to NCL rep, we were told if you purchase the dining package @$70 pp you would order from the "price fixed side of the menu".

 

Words of wisdom from anyone that has witnessed this new a la carte pricing would be appreciated and is the dining package worth it for Le Bistro, Cagneys and Il Adagio on a 3 day cruise?

Is anyone able to put on here two items please? The whole menu and the "fixed price side of the menu" for one of the a la carte Specialty restaurants.

 

It will be interesting to see what we are "missing"!!

The a la carte menus which have been seen in practice don't include any such "fixed price side of the menu".

 

I suppose there is a remote chance that when the a la carte menus are introduced on other ships they will be different to those on the Escape, but it is more likely by far that the OP has been given bad info.

 

To the OP, the actual experience people have had is that you can order whatever you want in Cagneys, Le Bistro and La Cucina, with the only restriction being just one entree.
