MSC Consultant

This may seem like a silly question, but I booked our MSC cruise by calling the number on the website where I spoke to a woman and she gave her name and call back number. I have been trying to call her to make a change to our reservation. Do I need to only deal with her since she is the one who booked our cruise or can I call back for someone else to help? I have never cruised with MSC before and don't know how it works.

I did the same thing (usually I book online but the website is awful.) The specialist was so nice and I asked her if I can contact her directly or if I can speak to anyone. She said they all work as a team. (I really would like to deal with her directly since she was so nice and helpful.)

However I called today because I needed to book another cabin for our sailing. I spoke to a different specialist who was just as nice if not nicer and more helpful. They seem to be pretty good...although there is a little wait all the time.

I couldn't agree more. I had so many problems with the website, and one call to the service number cured all the ills. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. Nicer than some of the others who sometimes leave the impression you are bothering them.

Anyone will help you. Only if you book with a PVP than you have to speak to that person, which is the reason i don't deal with a PVP.

How do you know that you're booking with a PVP? I called the toll free number when I wanted to make a booking, and the confirmation came from a "Supervisor, Personal Vacation Consultant" as per his signature. I didn't mind it but didn't like the multiple-day response time it took and next time would prefer to use the general team.

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought that a PVP was short for a Personal Vacation Planner and is a title used by Carnival Cruises.

I booked through an agency for my MSC cruise and not direct with MSC. Anytime you use an agency you will need to go through them for anything relating to your reservation.

Just ask because sometimes they have nothing to do and they pick up the line.
