Tables for Two in MTD on Freedom

On recent cruises on Enchantment and Allure, we had really nice tables for two in the MTD section (not squished up against all of the other tables for two). On Serenade we had the "lined up" tables for two. Fortunately we were at the end of the line and had really nice folks sitting next to us. I can't remember how the tables for two are configured on Freedom. Can a recent Freedom help with an answer?

 

Would it do any good to write ahead or check the first day to try and get a better location? Our experience with eating at the same time every night is that we could have the same table and wait staff.

They could be hit and miss. We have had great tables for two against the window and other times against a short divider wall. They are pretty close but not uncomfortable. MTD seating was always on the starboard side on the top level dining room.

We sailed Freedom 3 times and always did MTD dining. No regrets.
