Athankfulheart Posted November 2, 2016 #102 Share Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) My hubby and I try to do something on every cruise that we have never done before. Last February it was "play bingo" and this Jan/Feb it will be " Serenity Deck". We have never relaxed on the serenity deck ! Every time we have gone, there was no available space. SO - this sailing we decided that we are going to get a spot on serenity. We are so committed in fact that we booked an inside cabin so that we aren't tempted to give up and go sit on the balcony. Since my hubby is the early bird, he will be up there at 7am and I will bring breakfast when I wake up. We plan to camp there on every sea day as well as our day in Jamaica. We'll be " those people":D:rolleyes::o Ps. We won't "save" our spot. We plan to keep one or both of our rears in the seat all day long. Warm Breezes Posted November 2, 2016 #109 Share Posted November 2, 2016 So DH and I have cruised a fair bit- and no they are not all listed on here;-). But I was wondering for repeat cruisers with a cruise coming up- is there anything that will be a first for you? For example- this is the first time we are traveling with just carry on bags. This is the first time we are using faster to the fun. Just back from our 15th cruise a couple weeks ago with many firsts. First time out of NY in October. Expected cold and got unexpected heat wave. First time on CCL Sunshine. First time dining at La Cucina and the Steak House. First female cruise director. First cruise with Guy's Burger, Blue Iguana and Ji Ji's. First cruise with Play List Productions and Hasboro Games. Cruising next year on NCL Escape. Also many firsts. First time with an Angled Balcony. First time with UBP and SDP. First time on the NCL Escape. First ship with a Margeritaville, Brew House, Grotto, Ocean Boardwalk, and probably many more things that I can't think of at the moment. Its also the first time I understand why carnival is called the Walmart of cruise ships. Never again! Not new here... just a new account. There will be a review ....
