Early saver question

I have booked every cruise early saver so never had any issues or questions. We are going on April cruise with another couple ( due to be paid off Jan. 19th) that has seperated. What is best option. Cruise is in his name, I told him take someone else and go. Since it is not paid off yet do you just pay a few for name change. The best I remember if they don't go, the deposit is held for future cruise.

I don't believe that any name changes are allowed under the terms and conditions of the Early Saver rate.

They took out the insurance thru carnival. Sure divorce isn't covered but I seem to remember cancel for any reason.

At this point I knew they held part of the deposit, forgot about the 50.00 pp penalty so all that is easy since not paid off. He just thought he could take someone else and pay a fee.

I would have him contact Carnival ASAP then so he gets it straight before final payment is due. Especially if he had it set up to auto pay.

The only way he could take someone else and not have to pay a fee or lose money is if the person going just happens to have the same name as his ex.;)
