Anyone have any idea how far apart we can expect them to be? unless they are in the same terminal together, you can't walk. Jump in a cab and explain to the driver that you're sorry that it (most likely) will be such a short ride and that you'll tip extremely well to make up for it. Unless you have mobility issues there is no reason you can't walk it. I have done it many times. From one end of Miami terminal to the other is less than a 3-5 min walk. Maybe you are thinking about Port Everglades. Usually they are docked right next to each other http://www.shiprocked.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/portofmiami.jpg http://www.miamiexecutiveshuttle.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/port-of-miamiii.jpg Edited January 11, 2016 by ohiogymrat
wickedhangover Posted January 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2016 We did something similar, tipped the porter $20 to bring our bags to the other ship. But as everyone says, it's a very short walk. Only two carnival ships in port that day http://ports.cruisett.com/schedule/United_States_Of_America/426-Miami_Florida/February_2016/ so they should be right next to one another. Why would you be sorry for having a person, whose job it is to transport you, for a fee, to a location that you want to go? They drive you, than will pick up the next person. In reality, they might make more money in a shorter time.
Rare nunuc2000 Posted January 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2016 In October we walked form the Breeze over to the NCL Pearl... which was further than the Splendor will be - we have good wheelie luggage and that made it very easy for us... about a 10 minute walk, tops. If it had been raining, we would have taken a cab. But otherwise, it's quite easy to do :)
edinboro cruiser Posted January 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2016 It's an easy walk. No need to waste money on a cab

They would be losing out because of such a short trip and then having to get in back of a possibly long line (sitting idle) of taxis picking up people

In December, we will be getting off Princess going to Carnival. Everyone has insisted that the only way to go is take a cab. I'd be up to walk myself, if it is safe and do-able?
