Cesme - Turkey

Our cruise that will stop there is Seabourn. And frankly small off the beaten path ports of call are one of the things we love about cruising on their small ships. It is quite pleasant not to park next to a mega ship where thousands of passengers can quickly mask the charm of these little towns.

Each to his own. I also sail small ships (Voyages to Antiquity's Aegean Odyssey and Swan Hellenic's Minerva, both of which carry about 300-330 passengers). They also stop at ports off the beaten path -- but usually because there is something worth seeing or doing there, usually historic.
