poisonivynicole Posted January 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2016 I have been noticing a lot of posts that Chankanaab won't let you book through them if you are coming off of carnival. I didn't see this information until after I booked our dolphin excursion through their website. It asked me what ship and I put carnival down and it allowed me to book the excursion and I paid for it and received the confirmation email. My question, will they not allow us to come in when we get there or will they charge us a different price. I didn't see anything about not being able to book through them if you are on carnival other than on here. Any answers would be great. Thank you so much! denas Posted January 13, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2016 If you booked your tour you are fine. They don't care. We arrived by ship and were just planning on going to the park then once we were there we decided to book the manatee encounter. They gave us the same price (non-cruise ship price) even though we told them we were on the ship. We also got to spend about 45 minutes swimming with the manatees and the cruise ship people only got about 20. It was great.

I have seen a lot of posts about the "cruise experience" is totally different than the experience you get if you book directly. It seemed to be a way better deal to book directly. Coolwhip82 Posted January 14, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2016 What is the link to book online directly with them? The site I am going to says 'we don't do online reservations'

The 'cruise experience' includes a lot of extra cash....yours!
