Sailing Hawaii...

I'm considering sailing on the POA in 2017 but already have something booked for March. Is the fall a good time to travel to Hawaii? What month would you recommend?

We just did it December 5 - 12. Prices were good (between Thanksgiving and Christmas rushes) and weather turned out perfect.

 

A lot of time it's hard to tell about Hawaii weather.

We did a land trip in October and are planning another for this October. Aside from the earthquake, lol, the weather was amazing! The pricing wasn't too bad either, as I think that may be considered "off" season.

Weather is pretty much the same year around.

 

Mid-Summer will be slightly hotter.

 

Winter, small chance of stormy weather.

 

Late summer/fall very slight chance of hurricanes causing chopping water (not much different than sailing in the Atlantic - very very slight chance of weather-induced changes to itinerary)
