Luggage question

My only experience was with American. I had one bag to heavy. The skycab at the curb check-in told me it was to heavy just by lifting it. She didn't even have to put it on the scale. I moved some things into the other bag we had, she lifted it again and gave us the ok. That was at the 50lb limit. Going to take the advice you see on these threads. Pack your bags and then take out 50%. You should be fine then:)
